By placing your order with Whisk Laundry Service, you agree to having read and accepted our Privacy Policy, and to follow these Terms and Conditions.  Please exit our website and refrain from using our site or services if you do not accept our terms and conditions.

Minimum Order Size
Minimum order amount for laundry is $35 and/or dry clean is $50.  Whisk Laundry Service does not combine your order with any other customer and therefore process each order separately and charge accordingly.

Exclusions to Service

Whisk Laundry Service does not offer pest control services nor do we launder items where mold or human or animal excrement is present.  Please do not place any orders for items that may contain pests such as bedbugs, roaches, etc., or any form of mold or mildew, or human or animal excrements.

Any order found with the conditions mentioned above will not be processed and a minimum administrative charge of $50 will be applied.  Civil action may also be initiated against the customer for any damages suffered by Whisk Laundry Service, its customers, staff, contractors or agents as a result of orders being delivered to Whisk Laundry Service in violation of these terms.

Some Obvious things you should already know

Prior to picking up, sort your laundry the way you would like to have it washed (e.g. Whites – Hot Water Wash, Colors/Darks – Coldwater Wash).  Sorted laundry will be charged at the sorted laundry price which may be found at pricing page.

Where there is no indication that a sort was completed and marked, we will assume that all items can be washed together in cold water.

Delicates such as fine lingerie should be placed in a lingerie bag to protect them during the laundry process.  You may purchase lingerie bags from Whisk Laundry Service or use your own

Do not place laundry and dry cleaning items in the same bag.  Whisk Laundry Service will not be responsible for garments labelled “hand wash only” or “dry clean only” and is not responsible for checking for these labels in customer’s garments.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that laundry bags do not exceed 40lbs and that they are clearly identified with the customer’s name (affixed nametag, or written and inserted inside the bag to prevent loss), and is closed/ tied/sealed to prevent loss during transportation.

The customer will provide written instructions for all special handling requests, including, but not limited to, wash and hang dry, hot water wash, low heat dry, delicate cycle, etc.  Additional charges may apply.

Unable to Pick Up or Delivery Order
Whisk Laundry Service will make every reasonable effort to pick up and deliver orders as promised.  In the event that an order was placed by a client and confirmed for pickup or delivery, but either the order or the person responsible to hand off or receiving the order is unavailable at the scheduled time period, a $10 ‘placed but unavailable’ charge will apply.

Alternative Pick up/Drop off Authorization

If you are unable to be at home at the scheduled pick up/drop off time, you can save yourself a second attempt charge by providing us with an alternate pick up/drop off arrangement that you believe is secure. (Neighbor, Concierge, Security, foyer, porch, garage etc.).

We will text/email you when the pickup/drop off is made.  This service is provided solely for the benefit of the customer and Whisk Laundry Service assumes no responsibility whatsoever for such an arrangement.

Lost or Damaged Items
Whisk Laundry Service exercises the utmost care in cleaning and processing orders entrusted to us and use such processes, which in our opinion are best suited to the nature and conditions of each individual garment.  Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in the fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing.  We cannot guarantee against colour loss, colour bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties or zipper pulls, etc.

Any items determined to have been lost or damaged by Whisk Laundry Service, except for those listed above, will be reimbursed in accordance with the International Fabricare Fair Claims Guide and shall not exceed ten (10) times our charge for processing that garment or prorated percentage of the order, or a collective sum of a maximum of $500, regardless of brand or condition.  Any damaged items must be reported and returned to Whisk Laundry Service for inspection within 5 business days.

Items left in pockets or wrapped in laundry order
Whisk Laundry Service strives to check for items accidentally left in the garments given for Laundry or Dry Cleaning. However, Whisk Laundry Service, its employees, contractors or agents, is not responsible for items, or damages caused by items left in garments such as jewelry, watches, cash, pens, crayons, markers, lipstick, gum, detachable buttons, cuff-links, belts, broaches, strings, laces, hoods or loose items on garments, etc.

We ask customers to ensure that they check all items and remove all contents from the pockets or affixed to their garments before giving them for servicing.  Whisk Laundry Service is in no way responsible for damages caused to the garments due to the presence of any aforementioned items or the like.

Maximum Storage
Whisk Laundry Service can hold your clothes for a maximum of one week or as agreed upon prior to the commencement of service.  If the period extends beyond that, then Whisk Laundry Service may charge the customer storage fees of $5 per day.

Quotations and Pricing
All current prices are listed at www.whisklaundry.com and are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD). All prices are subject to H.S.T. of 13%.  For pricing on any unique items not listed on our website, please contact us at info@whisklaundry.com

Whisk Laundry Service reserves the right to make changes to any or all prices without advanced notice. In case of any discrepancy in pricing, the online posted prices will be applied.

Quotations, if required must be requested before placing your order.  In case of any order cancellation, after a pickup has occurred, a $50 charge will be applied.  For quotations after an order has been picked up, please send us a request in writing to info@whisklaundry.com  We will provide a quote if the plant has not yet started the order. If the order is being processed or has been processed, we will provide an invoice for the order which is due and payable prior to delivery.

Late Payment Fees
Payments for all order are due before delivery. Whisk Laundry Service will invoice the customer prior to delivery. If payment is not received or we are unable to complete a charge transaction as provided by the customer, then a late payment charge of 2% (compounded daily) will be applied to the outstanding balance till a payment has been finalized. The late payment fee is calculated from the delivery date set till the date of settlement.

Non-Payment

If payment has not been received, Whisk Laundry Service will contact the customer by telephone, text message or email to secure payment. Orders that have not been paid for within 30 days of the pickup date will be considered abandoned and all property will be disposed of or donated to a local charity. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, Whisk Laundry Service reserves the right to pursue legal action to seek compensation for cost and damages relating to the order.

Turnaround Time
Every reasonable effort is made to return each order as promised.  Our Wash and Fold Services are usually returned the next business day or as agreed upon. Standard Dry Cleaning orders are usually returned within 72 hours.  Repairs and speciality items i.e. leather, fur, couture, etc. will be assessed individually and a promised return date will be provided.

However, we do not guarantee turnaround times and assume no responsibility for any damages that may occur due to a delay in service.

Repairs & Alterations
All repairs or alterations requested by clients valued at $30 or less, before taxes will be performed without secondary authorization.  For repairs and/or alterations above $ 30 in value, a text message or email will be sent to the customer and will require approval before services commence.

Discounts, Special Pricing & Coupons
All coupons or special offer may include limitations or restrictions on their use.  In most cases, discounts, special pricing and coupons cannot be combined. Except where specified in writing, only one coupon, voucher or discount code can be applied to an order.  If more than one coupon, voucher or discount code is presented, the one of greater value, if applicable, will be applied to the invoice. All coupons, vouchers or discount code must be presented at the time the order is placed and before the expiry date to be valid.

Referral Codes
Each account holder is given a referral code (in format DMLXXXX). Referral codes are to be used to refer new clients to the service and to provide a discount to the referred person.  Referral codes are not for use by the referring in their own account e.g. self-use. If an account is found to have used a code in this manner, Whisk Laundry Service will have the right to charge to the account a fee in the same amount as the discount received.

Order Cancellation
In the case of a customer cancelling an order(s) after it has been picked up and before the service has started; a service fee of $50 will incur as a “Cancellation Charge”.  Orders may not be cancelled after work to launder or clean them has commenced and the full charges for the service will apply.
